Road building is changing fast around the world, especially in places with tough weather and heavy trucks.
One of the best new materials is called Crumb Rubber Modified Bitumen, or CRMB for short.
This material is made by mixing normal road tar with tiny bits of rubber from old, recycled tires.
When we mix these two things together, the tar becomes much more stretchy and strong.
This special mix stops the road from cracking or sinking when heavy vehicles drive over it.
Using high-quality materials royalbitumen that the road surface stays strong for a very long time.
Every year, millions of old car tires are thrown away, creating a huge waste problem.
Instead of leaving them in landfills, recycling factories shred these tires into tiny pieces.
They remove all the steel and wires inside the tires to leave behind clean, pure rubber crumbs.
This clean rubber is then used to upgrade our roads, turning waste into something very valuable.
First, special oils are added to the bitumen at the factory.
Next, the bitumen is heated up to a very high temperature of around 210°C.
Then, high-speed blenders mix the rubber crumbs into the hot liquid very quickly.
The mixture must sit and cook for at least 45 minutes before it is ready to use.
Because this mix changes over time, it must be used quickly near the construction site.
We provide three distinct categories of this material to match your specific project environment:
CRMB 50: Ideal for preventing cracks in freezing, cold regions.
CRMB 55: The perfect middle-ground choice for balanced, moderate weather.
CRMB 60: Best suited for high-heat zones where roads are prone to melting.
