Specific Gravity: The density of this bitumen is between 1.01 and 1.06 at 25°C. It shows the product has a good and standard quality.
Penetration: The penetration rate is between 40 and 60 at 25°C. This means the bitumen is hard and very good for hot weather areas.
Softening Point: This product starts to soften between 48°C and 56°C. It helps the asphalt stay strong against high temperatures.
Loss on Heating: When we heat this bitumen, it loses a maximum of 0.2% of its weight. This shows the material is very stable.
Drop in Penetration: After heating, the penetration drops by a maximum of 20%. This keeps the primary quality of the product safe.
Solubility & Insoluble: The purity of this product is very high. Minimum 99.5% of it dissolves in CS2, and the bad materials are maximum 0.5%.
Spot Test: The result of this test is negative. It means the production process is perfect and there is no overheating damage.
